Director of Transitional Care Program
I have been working in the healthcare field for over ten years and I truly believe it is my purpose to serve those who are unable to serve themselves. Early on in my career, my focus was on children diagnosed with special needs and their families. As I continued to grow I became more interested in health care and I began taking courses in the health care field, which opened up an opportunity for me to begin working in an assisted living community. I truly enjoyed interacting with the members of the assisted living community and learning about their lives and experiences throughout their years, and they all had amazing stories to tell! As my passion grew for this population, so did my desire to obtain my nursing degree. I attended school in Sacramento and received my license in vocational nursing in 2012. After receiving my license I spent the next four years working in a fast-paced outpatient surgery clinic, which although enjoyable, I did not feel fulfilled and I missed the community of seniors I had once served. When given the opportunity to join A Senior Connection I embraced the chance to return to helping seniors. I believe it is a true honor to assist individuals and families in finding the best level of care for their needs and I look forward to serving the clients and community of A Senior Connection.
