A licensed hospice agency is covered by Medicare, Medi-cal and most other private insurances. Agencies will vary is what insurance they are able to accept.
Any cost to a residential care home or private hire care givers are private out of pocket expenses. Care homes can range on a monthly average of $6,000 per month. Private caregivers average around $30 per hour.
