Manager of Transitional Care Program
Growing up in Wheatland, California, I became passionate about the healthcare industry after caring for my mom through her breast cancer journey. I realized then that I was meant to help others recover and thrive. After graduating high school, I earned my CNA certification through the American Red Cross. As a CNA, I was able to help many seniors through my work in an assisted living and long-term care community. Here I was able to experience how one person could help so many people and see a real impact.
After working in assisted living, I spent 4 years as an in-home caregiver. I loved the one-on-one aspect, whether it was providing care or just spending time with seniors. Everyone needs compassion & care and I was proud to make a difference in their lives.
When the opportunity was presented to work with A Senior Connection as a Care Navigator with complex cases. Working with complex cases and at-risk seniors allows me to maximize my impact and care for a wide-variety of individuals. At ASC, we help any seniors who need help finding care or housing. While not working in a hands-on care capacity, I will be able to facilitate helping more of Sacramento’s seniors stay safe & healthy.
When I am not working, I love to spend time with my daughter and fiancé creating memories. I enjoy leading a healthy lifestyle through home-cooked meals, juicing, and being active with my family.
